Last Friday, our class went on a trip to the zoo.
First, we saw the lions. They were sleeping in the sun.
Then we watched the monkeys. One monkey stole a banana from a visitor!
The giraffes were eating leaves from the top of a tree.
An elephant sprayed water over its back. Some children got wet!
We liked the penguins best. They swam very fast.
At lunchtime, we ate our sandwiches near the lake.
In the afternoon, we drew pictures of our favorite animals.
On the bus home, everyone was tired but happy.
