Last Sunday, Max took his dog, Rocky, to the park.
Suddenly, Rocky saw a squirrel and ran after it.
Max called, "Rocky! Come back!" But Rocky didn't come back.
Max looked everywhere: behind the trees, near the lake and under the benches.
He went home and made posters with a picture of Rocky.
He and his mother put the posters all over the town.
The next morning, the phone rang. It was a woman from the bakery.
"I think your dog is here. He's eating our bread!"
Max ran to the bakery as fast as he could.
Rocky jumped into his arms. Max was so happy!
