The original text
Trees are very important for our lives. They give us oxygen, which we need to breathe. They also give us fruit, wood and medicine. Trees provide homes and food for many birds, insects and animals. In hot weather, they give us cool shade, and their roots hold the soil together, so heavy rain cannot wash it away. In big cities, trees clean the air by taking in dust and harmful gases. Sadly, people are cutting down trees very fast to build houses, roads and factories. As a result, the weather is becoming hotter, floods are more common, and many animals are losing their homes. If we want a healthy planet, we must stop cutting trees carelessly and plant new ones wherever we can.
The summary
The Importance of Trees
Trees give us oxygen, food, wood and medicine, shelter animals, cool and clean the air, and protect the soil. Careless cutting is making the weather hotter, causing floods and destroying animal homes, so we must protect trees and plant more.
